TheCatch.AI is an independent AI-engineering reference desk. This page explains how we earn, how we label earning links, and how editorial decisions are made. Required by the US FTC and standard affiliate networks.
Last updated: 2026-07-12
Recommendations on TheCatch.AI are chosen on editorial merit — ease, capability, price, and fit for the task. Partners and sponsors never influence scores, rankings, or which tools are listed. Money buys disclosed placement; it does not buy a ranking, a score, a positive write-up, or a mention in the Bubble Watch or AI Economics analysis sections, which carry no affiliate links.
Some links on the Tech Stack layer pages and kit directories are affiliate links. When you click one and sign up or make a purchase, TheCatch.AI may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Every affiliate link is labelled “Recommended — we may earn a commission” near the link, carries rel="sponsored noopener", and includes a tracking subid so we know which page earned it. A link is never added to a page because it pays a commission; the commission activates only after a tool earns a place on merit.
No affiliate links are currently live on this site. All partner programs are in candidate status — no links have been joined or activated. When approvals land and links activate, this page will reflect that, and all labelling described above will apply.
Vendors may sponsor a layer page or a matrix desk (“This desk is supported by ___”) as a flat placement. Sponsorship is disclosed on the relevant page. Sponsors receive no editorial input, no score changes, no ranking influence, and no copy approval. If a sponsor relationship ends and the tool no longer merits a mention, the mention is removed.
No sponsorship arrangements are currently active.
TheCatch.AI may in future carry EthicalAds (developer-audience, privacy-clean, text-only) in a rail slot on layer pages, labelled AD. No advertising is currently active. Google AdSense and behavioural ad networks are not used and will not be used.
The following partner programs are tracked. “Candidate” means we intend to apply; “Applied” means an application is pending; “Approved” means terms accepted, link not yet active; “Live” means a link is active on the site.
Prices, benchmark figures, and availability data in the Winner Matrices are dated snapshots, not live quotes. Every figure carries an “Updated” badge showing when it was last verified. Figures tagged with a verify chip are pending an author verify pass and may be inaccurate; they are visible but not relied upon for purchasing decisions. Always check the vendor’s current pricing before committing spend.
